"Temporary Assistance is a financial assistance program that offers temporary help to individuals and families on a short-termed basis until the household is able to achieve self-sufficiency." Includes Family Assistance for families with minor children and Emergency Assistance for families in a crisis situation.

"This group focuses on teaching youth how mental wellness affects your whole health and how to gage where their wellness is. The workbook helps youth learn self-care and how to be self-compassionate. We will focus on the 8 dimensions of wellness so individuals can learn how to bring their wellness level to where they would like it to be."

The CYSHCN program strives to improve the system of care for children & youth from birth to 21 years of age and their families. The program can help families find a health care provider, assist in obtaining health insurance or other programs that can help cover health care costs, refer families to other community services & programs

Dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets must be at least 3 months of age to receive their first rabies vaccination and must have the initial shot no later than 4 months after birth according to New York State Health Law. JCPHS offers four rabies vaccination clinics each spring at Jefferson County Dog Control, several clinics each August at various locations throughout Jefferson County and two clinics in the fall.
