A youth may qualify if they are exhibiting one or all of the following: truancy, drug and/or alcohol use, incorrigible and ungovernable behaviors."

"The Independent Living Services are available to all teens in foster care from the age of 14 years to 21. This is accomplished through intensive casework and participation in group activities. Foster Care is the temporary service provided to ensure the safety and well-being of children and youth while in out-of-home care. To apply you must: be at least 21 years old, in good health, and can make room in your home and heart for a child or children who need safe, temporary care.

Child Protective Service is a mandated service that is required to investigate any reports of suspected child abuse or maltreatment. Services to families to prevent abuse and maltreatment of a child are also provided when needed.
