Lock and Talk Lewis County promotes the importance of limiting access to lethal means for a person with suicide thoughts, and we teach anyone how to have conversations that can save lives using a variety of evidence-based skills trainings.

Community and school trainings/presentations are available upon request.

Free gun locks and medication lock boxes are available upon request.

Provides support to suicide loss survivors throughout Lewis County and the surrounding areas.

The Lewis County Traumatic Loss Team is a collaborative effort of volunteers with a rich diversity of personal experience and professional skills, backgrounds and expertise available to provide supportive services to agencies, businesses and/or individuals in Lewis County who have experienced a recent suicide or sudden traumatic loss.

Services MAY include: mental health services, case management, safe shelter, advocacy.

All ages who have been the victim of a crime.

Bereavement Related Counseling Services Including Individual Support, Family Support, and Support Groups.

All ages who are dealing with bereavement and loss of a loved one.

For persons 60 years of age and older in need of support with meal preparation.All Home Delivered Meals are prepared locally and delivered to the home by a caring community member. Meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday with frozen meals for Tuesday and Friday.

Youth Bureau Scholarship Funding available for Jefferson County Youth to help cover/defer some costs associated with recreation programs (including summer camps and programs)
