Families Together in the North Country works with families to: Provide a unified voice to our elected officials, coordinate systems of care for all families, empower parents/caregivers, children/youth, to be their own advocates, effect change at the local, state, and federal systems advocay.

Encompass Recreation commits to provide recreational opportunities for youth, where differences are celebrated, strengths are accentuated, and there is a place for everyone on our team.

Snow Belt maintains a variety of properties in the area for renters in need who are either over 62 years of age OR are an adult diagnosed with a disabling condition. Availability is subject to change. Tenants must be income-eligible, with a maximum of 80% of the Area Median Income  Tenants pay 30% of their gross monthly income for rent and utilities.  Property Locations MAY Include:Lyons Falls, Port Leydon, Croghan, Copenhagen, Lowville

"Lewis County Opportunities' Critical Needs Program can make a difference by providing assistance for unexpected expenses.  These could include, but are not limited to: Transportation (vehicle repair, insurance, etc), Rent/Utility Assistance.

Many of NRCIL's services can and are delivered by a peer. Peers are indivduals with lived experience. Peers can also work with individuals as a mentor/coach/support in a variety of areas.

Program that helps families hire respite workers for their family member. Must meet OPWDD eligibility.

Support for working families who are stuggiling to obtain basic necessities. Eligibility guidelines must be met.
